Working principle



Description:

Low temperature (0° C to - 5 ° C depending on the thickness of the fat tissue (which is measured before each treatment with special calipers), is then applied to the area in a controlled process, 'freezing' the localized area for a controlled period of time. Once the cooling procedure is completed, the fat cells crystallize and after melting the broken fat cells release the lipids into the lymphatic system, which will gradually eliminate them by natural metabolism. Skin is not damaged, but subcutaneous fat, which is more sensitive to targeted cold, begins a two to three month long dissolution after each cryolipolysis procedure.
One suction and cooling heads with large surface areas are placed on the areas to be treated. The cryolipolysis cooling head generate a vacuum that temporarily decreases blood flow to the treated area, immobilizing the fat tissue, and isolating the treated area from surrounding tissue.


Applications:

How are fat cells eliminated?
The elimination process of exposed adipocytes to the cryolipolysis action is as follows:
· Directly by crystallization, followed by apoptosis and progressive cell dissolution with gradual lipids release during 2to 6 week's time.
· Indirectly as a consequence of the sympathetic nervous system stimulation that will induce lipolysis.

How long is the application?
Depending on the size of the area to be treated it is possible that more than a single application is necessary. For instance we will need 2 applications for the abdominal area, L for each "love handles", and 2 for lower back.
Each application will last from 25 to 34 min., depending on the thickness of the adipose tissue.

How many sessions will we need?
Depending on the fat pad thickness and the desired reduction, we will need from 1 to 3 sessions. Preferable waiting time between 2 sessions is approx. 45 days.

What will the results be?
Depending on the initial adipose tissue thickness and the number of treatments, the average loss will be from 3 to 15 mm or 25%to 45%.
